Location

     Gros Morne National Park is located on the west coast of the Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador.  From the Town of Deer Lake, take Route 431 - The Viking Trail - north to Wiltondale and the southern gateway to the Park.   Turn off onto Route 431, the scenic drive to the south sector of Gros Morne National Park and the Towns of Glenburnie, Birchy Head, Shoal Brook, Woody Point and Trout River.   

    The Trout River Pond Boat Tour operates from the Town of Trout River, a traditional fishing community in Gros Morne National Park. The ticket office is located in the Trout River Municipal Building just off Route 431.  From there it is a short drive to the Parks Canada Day Use Area, campground and boat launch on the shore of Trout River Pond.   To make reservations or obtain information on the Trout River Pond Boat Tour, please call toll free:  1  (866) 751-7500.
